In my experience, I've seen that the outlets mostly carry the 50% wool 50% cashmere scarves instead of all the 100% cashmere scarves. If you're okay with the blend then I'd say go for it! But many people buy Burberry scarves for the pure cashmere (it looks like you are too) and I've rarely seen any 100% cashmere scarves at my outlet. Hi! I just purchased my very first Burberry Merino Wool Scarf and i was wondering what you scarf owners do with the tag that's attached to the scarf? Burberry scarves are made in many places (Italy, China, England etc.) but 100% cashmere ones are being made EXCLUSIVELY IN SCOTLAND (Hawick in Lothian Borders to be precise). So to sum up - this particular scarf is not genuine. It is not even cashmere, my bet would be a polyester as most of the knock offs and cheap scarves are being made of. Best
