I went to gather all my other bags to take a group pic and discovered cracks in the canvas of my 2009 Bloomsbury PM. I tried searching online for records of a recall of this design and found nothing. Hi! I have my mom’s 20 year old NOE which I am thinking of having LV repair. Canvas is in great condition it’s mostly the base and vachett that needs repairs. Has anyone sent anything to LV to repair? What was the cost they quoted you and what was your experience? Images would be great, too!
Click to expand. Louis Vuitton does not repair cracked canvas. They usually exchange or issue store credit when a bag develops cracked canvas prematurely (usually within five years of purchase). As for other repairs, they typically do it even for preloved bags. Lv will repair this but there will most likely be a charge. The zipper pull is a free repair (the last time I asked this was approx two years ago). My sa said she could put the new speedy zipper pull (without the raw under side like the . The zipper & the stitchings are still in place. I wonder if LV would fix it because usually they won't fix anything if the canvas has a tear, hole, crack, etc. But I would recommend you take it to LV & ask anyways. It doesn't hurt to ask. You can also sell the bag & use the money towards another LV purchase. Good luck!

I used it about 5-6 times and noticed the expandable handle was becoming loose. When I would extend the handle upwards, it would not lock in place on one . The canvas is supposed to be durable and usually cracks on the corners happen because the previous owner wasnt careful with the corners.. Continues bumos and scraps will do that.
